The Shepherds

Just outside Bethlehem, shepherds were watching their sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of God shone round about them. The angel told them that the Savior of the world had been born in Bethlehem. So the shepherds left their flock to find the Christ-child and worship Him. (Luke 2:8-20) |
The Manger

And so it came to pass in that humble stable, in the presence of donkeys and sheep, that Jesus the Son of God, came into the world as a tiny baby. And Mary wrapped the holy Child in long strips of clean white cloth and laid Him in a manger. And there He lay — God clothed in human flesh; the Savior; the King of kings; the Lord of lords. And they called His name Jesus for He would save His people from their sins. (Luke 2:7) |

The Cross

It was Jesus' love for all mankind that sent Him to the cross. He knew that all men everywhere had sinned against God, and God in His perfect justice had said the penalty for sin was death. So Jesus, God's Son, allowed those who did not believe in Him to nail Him to a cross and kill Him. Having committed no sin Himself, Jesus died to pay the price for our sin. |
The Tomb

On the third day Jesus arose from the dead. He appeared to Mary Magdalene and many others proving to everyone that He is the Son of God, and that He paid the price for our sins. Today, Jesus offers eternal life, abundant life, His life, as a free gift to all who trust Him as Lord and Savior |

The Second Coming

Jesus promised to come again in the future to receive those who trust in Him; The Scripture says "...the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). |
