Dr. Steve Viars – Steve has served at Faith Baptist Church since 1987 and as the senior pastor since 1996. Steve maintains a weekly counseling schedule of his own and supervises other counselors seeking NANC certification. He has been an instructor of biblical counseling in the training ministries at Faith as well as an adjunct faculty member at Word of Life Bible Institute and Baptist Bible Seminary. Steve and his wife have been married for 25 years and they have three children. His education includes a B.S., Bible, Baptist Bible College (Clarks Summit, PA); M.Div., Grace Theological Seminary; and a D.Min., Biblical Counseling, Westminster Theological Seminary. Steve will be teaching Introduction to Biblical Counseling in the MABC program. |

Dr. Paul David Tripp – Paul serves as the President of Paul Tripp Ministries and is on the pastoral staff at Tenth Presbyterian in Philadelphia. He has served as a pastor and a counselor at the School of Biblical counseling at Christian Counseling & Education Foundation (CCEF). Paul is an accomplished author and teacher. He was a long time faculty member at Westminster Theological Seminary. Paul and his wife have four children. His education includes a B.A., Columbia International University; M.Div., Philadelphia Theological Seminary; and a D.Min., Westminster Theological Seminary. Paul will be teaching Methods of Biblical Change in this program. |

Dr. Stuart Scott – Stuart is an associate professor of Biblical Counseling at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Executive Director of the Center for Biblical Counseling at Southern Seminary. In addition to publishing several works, Stuart also served as a faculty member at the Master’s Seminary. He is married with two children. His education includes a B.A., Columbia International University; M.Div., Grace Theological Seminary; D.Min., Covenant Theological Seminary. Stuart will be teaching the Marriage and Family Counseling course. |

Dr. Garrett Higbee – Garrett is the founder and executive director of Twelve Stones Ministries, a short-term intensive counseling intervention program. He maintains a heavily counseling schedule and formerly served as the director of counseling in a local church of over 3,000 persons. He is married with two children. His education includes a B.A., Psychology, Purdue University; and a Psy.D., Psychology, Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology (Norfolk, VA). Garrett will be teaching the course on Advanced Counseling Issues. |

Dr. Kevin Carson – Kevin is the department chairmen for Biblical Counseling at BBC (Springfield, MO) and Pastor of Sonrise Baptist Church. He counsels on a weekly basis those from his church and the surrounding community. Kevin and his wife have three children. His education includes a B.A., Pastoral Theology, M.Div., Baptist Bible College (Springfield), and a D.Min., Biblical Counseling, Westminster Theological Seminary. Kevin will be teaching the course on Spiritual Formation and Self Counsel. |

Bob Smith, M.D. – Bob is a retired physician and the deacon chairman at Faith Baptist Church. He maintains a heavy counseling load including supervising other counselors desiring NANC certification. Bob is the co-founder of FBCM and was instrumental in the original development of the MABC program at Master’s Seminary. Bob and his wife have four children and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His education includes a B.A. Chemistry, North Manchester College; and a M.D., Indiana University School of Medicine. Bob will be co-teaching Counseling Issues 2 and will serve as the instructor for the Counseling Lab. |

Rob Green – Rob is the Pastor of Counseling and Seminary Ministries at Faith Baptist Church. He has a weekly counseling schedule and serves as one of the instructors in the counseling training programs at Faith. Rob teaches Greek and NT courses in the M. Div. program at Faith Bible Seminary. He and his wife have three children. His education includes a B.S., Engineering Physics, The Ohio State University; M.Div., Baptist Bible Seminary (Clarks Summit, PA); and he is completing a Ph.D. in NT at Baptist Bible Seminary (Clarks Summit, PA). Rob will teach the Principles of Bible Study course in the MABC program. |

Dr. Amy Baker – Amy serves as the Ministry Resource Director at Faith Baptist Church and as the Director of Counseling at the Vision of Hope treatment center on the church property. She has been doing biblical counseling for over 20 years including many years for the Baptist Children’s Home. Amy is also an instructor in the counseling training programs at Faith. Amy and her husband have two children. Her education includes a B.A., Psychology, Hanover College; M.S., Organizational Psychology, Purdue University; and a Ph.D., Organizational Psychology, Purdue University. Amy will be co-teaching Counseling Issues 2 in the MABC. |
