Construction began in 2006 on the Faith Community Center, a modern 65,000 square foot stand-alone facility.  In development for nearly five years, the Faith Community Center is the result of extensive community research and is based on a demonstrated need in an area of continued population growth.  Conveniently located on the east side of Lafayette at the intersection of State Road 26 and County Road 550 East, the center can be reached by a large percentage of county residents.  The Faith Community Center opened Summer, 2007 at a projected cost of 8.75 million dollars.

- Community rooms with kitchen available for meetings, parties, and special activities

- Neighborhood cafe with coffee shop
