Welcome to Faith Resources! To help you use this resource well please take some time to read through the following information. It includes Resource Center policies and organization.
LIBRARY CARDS
Library cards are free for any interested individual. Simply fill out a library card application and return it to the staff at the circulation desk. For children under 12 parents must apply for and assume responsibility for the child's use of the library. The following obligations are placed upon library card holders:
Please be prepared to present your library card each time you wish to check out materials.
There is a $3.00 replacement fee for lost cards.
LOAN PERIODS
Most materials may be checked out for 2 weeks and renewed once. Videos may be checked out for 1 week, but they may not be renewed.
LOAN LIMITS
You may check out up to 15 books at a time. You may borrow 4 videos and 4 periodicals at one time. Currently there is no limit for cassette tapes. Exceptions may be made to this at the discretion of the library staff.
FINES
A fine of $5.00 will be charged for each book, cassette tape or periodical over 30 days past due. A fine of $2.00 will be charged for each video 7 days past due. Patrons will not be permitted to check out other materials until overdue materials are returned and fines are paid. Although library staff will do their best to notify patrons of overdue material it is ultimately the card holder's responsibility to return materials on time. Due dates are printed on receipts.
DONATIONS
A number of our resources have been donated. This has been a blessing in helping us provide resources. If you have resources you would like to donate please check with the staff at the circulation desk regarding how to go about making a donation. We do ask that you give the library staff the liberty to use or not to use any resource as they determine is best. We are not able to return resources once donated.

FINDING RESOURCES
Often you'll be able to find the resource you want simply by browsing through the stacks and picking out things that look interesting. If you are interested in a specific book or resource you may want to use the computer card catalog to narrow your search. The library staff can also help you locate materials. The card catalog is located on the research computers and the card catalog computer.
COMPUTERS
There are 3 computers dedicated for library patrons. One is a card catalog and is available only for searching for library materials. It cannot be used for other purposes.
Two computers are available for general use. A number of tools are available on these computers such as Internet connection, word processing, Bible study, etc.
If you would like to use one of the library computers you need to apply for a computer login. The application for a computer login is located on the back of the Library Card application. You can pick up your computer login name and password when you pickup your library card.
The library staff will not be able to access your password. If you forget your password you will need to notify the library staff. Getting your password reset may take up to a week. You will not be able to use the computers during that time. A fee of $1.00 will be charged each time your password must be reset.
Please note the rules posted at each computer.
REFRESHMENTS
Drinks are available in the refreshment area. If you plan to leave the refreshment area with a drink we ask that you make sure you have a lid on the cup. We ask that children not be permitted in other areas of the Resource Center with food or drink.
